Privacy Policy

This website has no database and no backend. Nothing you type into a form on this site is stored on the website or sent to a server we control.

The contact form, the secondment request form and the service enquiry forms work by opening your own email program with the details already filled in, or by opening WhatsApp with the same details as a message. You remain in control: the information reaches us only when you choose to press send in your email program or in WhatsApp.

The details those forms prepare are the ones you type: your name, your company, your country, your email address, your phone number, the service or role you are asking about and your message.

We use the details you send to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a proposal, and to carry out an engagement if you appoint us. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing.

Once you become a client, the information you give us is handled under our professional obligations of confidentiality as Chartered Accountants, and under the engagement letter we sign with you.

We share client information with other professionals or firms only where the engagement requires it, for example where work needs a SOCPA-licensed signatory in Saudi Arabia, and only on a confidential basis.

We may disclose information where the law or a regulator requires it of us, including obligations that apply to practising Chartered Accountants.

Client records are kept on access-controlled systems and are available only to the people working on your engagement. Documents you send us during an engagement travel through a secure link or your own accounting software rather than open email wherever possible.

We keep records for as long as our professional and legal obligations require, and then dispose of them securely.

This website does not set advertising cookies and does not build a profile of you. Your browser and your hosting provider may record ordinary technical information such as the pages requested, which we do not use to identify you.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@mehwaj.pk and we will reply within a reasonable period. Where a professional or legal obligation requires us to keep a record, we will tell you and explain why.
